We can Check and Repair any underwater hardware
Anchor Cables:
We regularly inspect and reconnect anchor cables on docks. We can run about 10 adjacent anchor lines per hour. Repair time is highly dependent on what needs done. When inspecting anchor cables we can determine position of anchors, the condition of the cables their hardware and the loops on the anchors. We can determine if maintance is neccesary before anchors cables snap and perform the maintance to avoid the need to replace an anchor.
Anchors:
We can connect dropped anchors. This is easiest when we are present at the time of drop. We can find lost anchors with broken off cables. More details on searching can be found on our Search and Recovery page. Concrete anchors are generally on the larger side and so the rules for searching for large objects apply. We do not have the ability to pull an anchor up, but we can hook it up for someone who does.
Dock Structures:
We have helped install, repair and remove all manner of dock hardware from finger braces to roof supports. Our ability to access connections under the water can allow hardware to be kept in the water while it is worked on rather than having to remove it. With notice we can provide divers for larger scale projects lasting multiple days doing installs and repairs. We have been part of multiple complete dock rebuilds after storms.
Electrical and Plumbing:
We can assist electricians and plumbers in installing runs of pipe and wire. We can access the bottom of the dock and decrease the amount of flooring that needs to beremoved to install new lines. We can also ensure that lines being run through open water are not tangled in other anchor, plumbing or electrical lines.
